Now That Is Interesting

It’s time to make the critical shift from leading the business by yourself to leading an organization of people. At P2Excellence, we help you navigate the uncharted territories of organizational growth with clarity and confidence.
"It is obvious that the only interesting people are interested people,
and to be completely interested is to have forgotten about 'I'."
Allan Watts

I guess for me this would mean that I would have to:

1. Be fully present... Not thinking about my agenda.
2. Actively listen... Not framing my next statement.
3. Ask next-level questions...like "Tell me more about that" or "How does that work" or "Why do you suppose that is?"
4. Suspend judgment... Not see every conversation as something to dominate.
5. Believe I have something to learn... Not something to tell.
6. Enjoy a conversation that I wasn't controlling... Feeling centered and confident.
7. Be curious about what others know and think... Believing there is always more to learn.
8. Create community...And know we are stronger when we integrate diversity of thought.

It seems as if it would make for an enjoyable - and interesting -time, a community-in-common kind of time, but then again, it will take some practice, right?
