Are You Enabling Change?

It’s time to make the critical shift from leading the business by yourself to leading an organization of people. At P2Excellence, we help you navigate the uncharted territories of organizational growth with clarity and confidence.

We live in such a fast-paced world that change is now a constant. We used to talk about making a change, and the models we used were designed to transition to and complete the change, and create a new, settled-down normal state. Ah, the good old days.

Today we talk about resiliency, adaptability, continuous improvement. We assess for teams who can pivot—fast and sure. We desire leaders who can inspire us and who seem to intuitively “know” the right opportunities to pursue and which ones to ignore.

Of course, we not only want to work for those leaders, we need to “be” those leaders. Even if we don’t have a leadership title, life requires that we all bring the leadership skills we have to the work (and life) we do.

This means we need to stay attuned to whether or not the work we do is “right for the time.” And even when we are sure it is “the right work,” we want to ask if we are delivering that work “in the right way.”

When is the last time you thought about your customer? I mean, as a person. What do they require? What do they prefer? How has their work, stress, and opportunities changed? What is their need? I bet it’s changed since the last time you asked, and I am betting that by asking you can be a person who enables that change to be successful.

Kindly let me know what you think!
